A special cell was introduced in order to look into the affairs of Other Backward Class students and staff of the institution. OBC Cell was established in compliance with University Grants Commission standards. All staff members and students who are part of the community should feel comfortable and appreciated in the living and working environment that the college’s OBC Cell fosters. Regardless of color, religion, caste, creed, or cultural background, the university is dedicated to creating a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere that values diversity to guarantee that the government and institutions’ periodic orders of reservation in favor of OBC are properly followed. The college is particularly interested in assisting government entities in providing financial help to students.

Objectives

• To inform the OBC students regarding various scholarship programs of State & Central Government.
• To councel and guide OBC students about various issues and help them to manage academic activities.
• To resolve problems related to OBC students.

Activities

• To ensure the effective implementation of the reservation policy in admission.
• To ensure equal opportunities for education of OBC students.
• To facilitate the financial support to OBC students from the Central government and State government.
• To serve as an OBC students’ Grievances Redressal Cell, listening to their complaints and providing the assistance they need to resolve administrative, academic, and research issues.
• To support OBC students at the college in utilizing the resources provided by the UGC and the State and Central governments for their educational and occupational career
